NEUROLOGICAL REHABILITATION

Neurological rehabilitation is a field focused on achieving the highest level of functionality and wellness after damage or disease affecting the Central Nervous System (brain, brainstem, cerebellum, spinal cord) and Peripheral Nervous System. The primary goal is to integrate individuals back into society, allowing them to be productive and fulfill their roles within their families and communities, provided their condition permits.

Neurological rehabilitation is essential in cases such as head trauma, strokes caused by cerebral hemorrhages or circulatory issues, paralysis related to spinal injuries, and diseases like cerebral palsy, spina bifida, infections and tumors of the nervous system, facial paralysis, polio sequelae, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and polyneuropathy. The aim is to help patients achieve their highest functional capacity and attain maximum independence.
